During our trip in November, we were lucky enough to briefly meet Saffay, the farmer that cultivates this coffee. It grows in an ancient rain forest in Guji under massive trees. We are very happy to have this single farmer coffee, this type of traceability is rare in ethiopia. Production was much higher than in most others farms we saw during our visit, the trees were bending under the weight of the coffee cherries. Like all of their coffees, Zanya does a really good job with their processing. The carbonic washed tastes just like a washed coffee, just slightly more intense and sweet.
